The metal grit feels so fine and does not hurt but it is so effective. I had some stubborn shedding skin on my feet that wouldn't go away with typical pumas stones, but this is perfect! It is rough enough to handle feet but gentle enough to not be painful. It is easy to hang in your shower to keep handy and it has not rusted yet. I love this device! Super helpful!

Really comfortable to use and quite good in scrapping off the dead skins off heels or soles.

This is a nice long foot rasp, double sided and works on wet or dry feet! I love that it is longer than the others I have owned, being of a certain age my range of movement and all that has gotten worse with age, this being longer makes it all the easier to reach my heels and feet in general. I would suggest to anyone.

You can use foot peels or liquid callous removers or electric callous sanders or manual foot files like this. I use all of the different methods throughout the year but a simple, manual, foot file like this is simple, not messy, and inexpensive while still doing an excellent job.This is one of the largest files I have. The body and handle is made of thick, strong, ABS plastic. The files are made of stainless steel that has been micro etched so it is abrasive. One side has a coarse abrasive surface and the other side has a fine abrasive surface. Start with the coarse side and sand until you are satisfied and then finish with the fine side to leave feet very smooth and soft. After you have finished, slather on a thick, moisturizing, cream for the ultimate soft feet. You can wash this file under running water to keep it clean and sanitary.One thing to note is that the packaging says to soak your feet first and use it wet. It cautions against using the file on dry feet. However, the product page says it can be used on wet or dry feet and that is my experience. You can use it on wet or dry feet.

Does the job perfectly. Large to cover most of the foot without extra work.
